I’ve been loving the warm weather lately, so I bribed my daughter and nephew with ice cream and drug them out to a new location I found. They only lasted about 10 minutes, but I think I grabbed a few cute shots.
I can’t wait to get one of my seniors out to this spot to photograph. The light was just gorgeous!
I’m always trying to think of amazing ways to make your experience with Karly Campbell Photography even better, more fun, and definitely more memorable. I’m a big believer that a photo shoot (especially a SENIOR photo shoot) isn’t just about someone clicking away on a camera! The shoot itself should be fun!
I want to have fun with you! Get to know you! Make you laugh! Senior photos are a big deal and I want you to know that I get it.
So, one of the ways I stand out from the rest of the crowd of senior photographers is that I require all of my senior girls have their makeup professionally applied. I’m the ONLY photographer (that I know of) in the Peoria IL area that offers professional airbrush makeup.
Before – with zero makeup
Can you do your makeup yourself? Sure, you can! But, doing your makeup for school or a date is so different than doing makeup before a big, long, exciting photo shoot. I’m going to have you working the camera…you’ll likely be sweating!
Professional airbrush makeup isn’t going anywhere. It won’t sweat off. It won’t melt away. It doesn’t streak. It just looks flawless from the first photo to the last.
Also, I work with two of the area’s very best makeup artists and they can ROCK the makeup. They do an amazing job of hiding what you want hidden and accentuating what you love about yourself.
Taken in the last 15 minutes of our 3 hour photo shoot…her makeup is still flawless!
Big, huge thanks to Hayle for being so completely awesome about letting me take her “before” photos with just a shrug of the shoulders and a “Sure, I don’t care!” Hayle, you’re the best!

I’d like to introduce you all to Adrianne, one of the behind the scenes ladies that helps make my images of you turn out GORGEOUS.
Adrianne is one of my makeup artists and, may I just say, she is beyond beautiful. I was so excited to get the chance to photograph her, not just because she is as sweet as can be, but I thought it would be fun for you to see one of the ladies who helps make my images pop. She does amazing work and really knows her stuff. She uses special products that are sure to stay on your face throughout the entire session. Adrianne also knows her stuff when it comes to highlighting your best features and hiding blemishes.

Got a boyfriend/girlfriend? These short and sweet sessions are PERFECT for you! Photos for you to share on facebook, a couple to print out and keep for when you’re old and married (to the same person or not 
), and a FUN photo session to celebrate your relationship!
No boy/girl to share the love with on V-Day? That’s cool, too! I’m flexible. V-Day is about love, so why not do a shoot with your BFF? You two are soul mates, too, right? BFF sessions are loads of fun!
Sessions must be completed by Jan. 31, 2012 to ensure delivery by February 14! If you’re not too worried about getting late photos, I’ll take these mini sessions up until February 13, 2012, but after that you’re out of luck! There are only 10 mini sessions available. This is a once a year thing and an AMAZING price! I generally only shoot seniors, but these sessions are good for any high school/college couple!

Things are slowing down now that it’s so cold out, but I just want to throw it out there that if you want some rockin’ senior portraits that don’t look like anyone else’s a snow session would be an absolute blast! All of my sessions include professional air brush make-up and you can add on hair styling as well! Tons of fun new products geared towards my amazing senior girls, as well!

Katie’s senior portraits turned out positively amazing – she totally rocked the camera! I loved her attitude and her pose ideas. She made a fabulous model.
I think Katie’s session was on the hottest day of the year and she still managed to look great! I was hating on the heat, but after today I almost miss it. I’m so not ready for winter!

There is something sad about a photographer’s child. As soon as they see a camera they get all depressed and pitiful looking, like “Oh, please. Not again.” Every now and then, though, they perk up, come to life, and give you some great shots. Especially when you bribe them with caramel apples for the end of the shoot.
My baby girl, Emma, rocked this shoot, if I do say so myself. Love this girl.
My Fall schedule is almost full. I only have 2 spots left for November, so if you’d like to get on the schedule let me know ASAP! Holiday card sessions must be held by November 15 to guarantee delivery by December 10.

Mariah was my first senior for the class of 2012 and I’m so excited that she’s my senior rep for Pekin High. She is GORGEOUS and we had a great time wandering around downtown and then traipsing through the weeds for her photos.
